I am pretty sure the DS is equivalent with the Nintendo 64, ie Super Mario 64 DS. And the GBA was equivalent to the SNES.

i did'nt like the remake of SM64. having to get mario, wario, and luigi is way too much and it does not feel like the older one that was on the 64.

Lyat Wars aka Star Fox 64, or even better the original Star Fox. The new ones just don't cut it for me. If they could remake Ikaruga that'd be fantastic too. Going a little off topic but Marble Madness could be intersting.
