Hey again, i just found the info about the touch screens not working properly again, so i thought i'd post the exact info i had
Anyone have a DS that is a little bit screwy around the edges of the touch screen? It doesn't seem to want to calibrate, and though you can't see any scratches and know there aren't any dead pixels, the damn thing just isn't working right near the sides of the screen?
Apparently, the reason for this is that over time, a thin layer of dust and muck gets caught between the sides of the screen and the plastic shell of the DS that holds it down. This puts pressure on the screen and as a result makes the touch screen behave strangely near the edges. EDIT: While the Nintendo page recommends a toothbrush, the safest way is to open up the case and clean it out.
