Hardware \ DS flash card help

Hi everyone. i have a few questions before i purchase one myself.
1. If i took a game off the card and put it on the computer, then back on the card again, would the saved game still be on there or would i have to start again?
2. Which card would be the best and most friendly user to purchase?
3. Is there a store in melbourne where i could purchase it or would i need to purchase online.
everyones help would be much appreciated. thankyou

1. No, the game would be fine because when you put the game on your card it also make a "SAV" file and you can give others that save game file, put it on ur PC, put it back and it will be fine

eg: Pokemon Pearl.NDS file
when you start the game it makes a Pokemon Pearl.SAV file which is the SAV data file. As long as its the same name as Pokemon Pearl.NDS then it will work and you can do whatever you want with it.
2. Well, out right now? Cyclo DS is really user friendly but if your strapped for cash then Get R4 coz its alot cheaper if you include a micro sd card. Get one with a external memory reader so you can switch Cards around. (cyclo DS,R4)

3. I think you're not allowed to sell it in a retail shop so you can only buy online. A good place is www.ozmodchips.com. An aussie site with quite good prices. But does not include GST in the price listings.

i got chipped, as i got it from an asian person, and they had a chinese hardware R4DS, which means i have to patch the firmware of r4ds, so that it can work with my card
r4ds cards that are chinese are a bit cheaper, so look out for prices that are a bit sus.
Get an "english" hardware r4ds or cyclo etc, then no problems

If u buy from ozmodchips im fairly sure there all english hardware

1. NO! when you first play a game it makes a file with a .SAV extension this file stores all your save game data and therefore you can transfer your save game data anywhere and even help out your mates by copying your file and giving it to them!

2. This is a very difficult subject the two major ones are R4 and Cyclo DS Evolution. Cyclo DS retails for $65 and The R4 retails for $50 now I can tell no difference between the two and I own the R4 and it is great for more info consult this thread

3.I also agree that www.ozmodchips.com is the best place to buy i shopped there no problem and received next day delivery although I cannot promise you that, but there prices are competitive and they are based in Melbourne and are a trusted company so the choice was obvious, last but not least the owner of that shop supports myds and often offers us special deals.

Very rarely do you find retail stores that stock chips.

You also need a MicroSD which can be bought at www.ozmodchips.com but eBay is often alot of cheaper
