Now we all still like the ds, but what do you think about the next nintendo handheld? should it still have two screens? Touch screen?
What do you think that the next ds,gameboy, whatever its called should have?

I think the DS was such a success because it wasn't filled with that rubbish, keeping costs down and making it user friendly for such a broad audience.
I don't think Nintendo will make new hand held for a while considering they have such a massive word wide user base at the moment, releasing a new hand held now might not be a good idea, even now look at the complaints from the original DS owners regarding compatibility of accessories.
Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind some more grunt under the hood, and I have a bad habit of wanting the latest Nintendo gizmo, but for now I'm happy with the DS lite and I'm sure many share the opinion.

Agreed. If they released another version of the DS, I'd only buy it cause all the accessories are being made for it. I'm happy with the Lite

@ShuffleZ: The iPod Touch blows man. Our maths teacher had one. He said it wasn't worth the price and he was better off importing an iPhone;; They sell for around $550 for 16gb. For about $480, you can get a 160gb iPod without a touch screen =\

I wasn't referrinf to the DS to have features like the iTouch i just meant the multi touch interface like it.

An analog stick would come in handy for racing games, once you've played racing games with an analog stick there's know going back, the only racing game to play well using the D-Pad is Mario Kart.

The DS Lite can TECHNICALLY do that now; you download & play games from other DS's using WiFi, and you can play music on Moonshell
