General \ DS touch screen problem?

After playing SimCity for a while, I noticed that the touch screen was feeling like it had a layer of thick plastic over it. It used to feel like glass, as the top screen did. Now you have to touch it a little bit harder to get the same response. Any ideas?

Try giving the screen a good clean, it might be just a build up of dirt and grime, and a screen calibration wouldn't hurt as well.

You could calibrate the touch screen in the DS menu. Touch the points as hard or as soft as you want, then you should be able to let it work with ease

Go onto the main screen on the main DS screen menu and onto options and do the calibrating for the touch screen. It did it on one of my games and I just did this and then it was fine! -Sorted!

The screen used to feel as hard as the top screen when touched with the stylus however now it feels almost spongy - well, at least softer. It feels like there is a layer of thick plastic, that wasn't there before, over the touch screen. I will, however, try calibrating it.

It doesn't make much difference, except that I have to touch the screen slightly harder to get a response - the screen now feels more soft and flexible, as if there was some sort of cover over it.

Thanks for the help, though! Any more ideas?

i think the longer you play it the softer the screen gets coz when i press down i can see the screen going down a bit
