I pretty sure you correct on that one, just walk around a shopping center and check out all the bored kids that have been dragged along shopping with their parents, a lot of them are killing time playing a DS or PSP.

I see DS's all the time But it is true, hand helds easily out-sell consoles. I do see the occasional DS user, in a car playing it, I haven't seen one in a shop though.
