Sadly, They are not actual Sim 2 games like building a family a house and then all the micro management. So they are a completely different game to the PC versions but some things are the same.

I think you have to ask someone that plays the DS versions, The original Sims 2 on DS is about running a hotel and my sister loves it. Of course she is only about 10 so I think you will just have to try it or read reviews

In my opinion they don't hold up by themselves its only there Sims 2 PC links that keeps them going so, NO

nope. Sims 2 is a bit of a waste of time. It's nothing like the original sims games and gets very boring after a while. i'm not too sure what the other sims games are like. how about 'my sims'?
