no news on ds2, but a ds shortage is upon us! nintendo is working hard, but we will be without ds's for a little bit... there are still some around in australia, but due to the shortage, EB wants to rape as many as they can and have raised their ds prices from 186 to 199! one of many reasons i never shop at EB, in the states or australia... JB hifi still has them for 188... dick smith got a limited shipment, so not every dick smith will get more... bigW poorly handles their stock/supply demand, so most if not all of them are sold out...

Bottom line, if you want a ds, get it now while you can if you want it soon... if you can wait, whenever supply builds back enuff for stores to again stock them, could be a bit of a wait...

just a heads up...

DS is still the item for on the go gaming and more! IF the big N decides to up the ante with a new system... i foresee the same dual screen format, i feel that would be a must... but add a beefier processing system and have it able to play games from other systems up to at least the nintendo 64... and go virtual system like the wii, so you can download games to play on it as well... perhaps tie it in with the wii so if you download a virt game for the wii, you can flip it over and play it on the new improved DS.... sounds like a plan...
