ENOUGH WITH THE BRETT FARVE! Im sure he's a nice man in but theres no time for him here!!

When it evolves into Empoleon, it can have some pretty badass moves. But my Torterra has: Earthquake, Leaf Blade, Crunch and Solarbeam i think.
But yeah now since they have 2 types, it can be tricky.

Well Piplup is best, if you want to get through the first gym easy (i always go for water type for that reason ) and thats what i've always done, apart from Pokemon Yellow of course.

Empoleon (piplup final evolution) is a pretty cool pokemone as well, water and steel

I started with prinplup and everything worked good and it wasnt hard early in the game to beat other pokemon because prinplup seems to do good towards the start and later on in the game you can get more pokemon so that is why i think it is a good idea to get prinplup as your starting pokemon, also because it is strong, that is oppinion anyway , seya
