i was at the caribbean market in scoresby, victoria today when i saw that acegamestore.com has there own stall there. (sorry if anyone else has posted about this before.) i thought that maybe the r4 would be cheaper there but it was $60, the same as the site. but ye anyways if anyone is considering buying an r4 or other modchips i suggest go there since you can get it right then and there instead of waiting periods and paying by credit card or wateva.

yeah right .... i ordered a r4 an 1gb pak from acegamestore 3 weeks ago there site says in stock but there not , they havnt shipped the product nor replied to my email

i called there store 1 phone was disconnected by optus the other noone answered

i managed to get the mobile of the store owner who runs that stall from another website called him got hung up on twice
got told fight it out with visa we dont care we have a good credit raiting "you will learn your place small fry" what ever that means 'shrug'


i think there shop fronts went bust or something an they dont seem to be updating current orders (they deleted my account i registered an made the order with on there site ) lucly i still have the original order an payment emails from them an there anz credit card payment gateway

so thats where we are at with them currently


ordered an r4 an 1gb card from a well known Ozzy here on this forum an arrived perfectly 3 days later my son couldnt be happier

my wife on the other hand ... LOL

lesson learned i guess

Look guys when your shopping online, you just can't muck around trying to get stuff cheaper. Ozmodchips offers a fantastic service and a brilliant price sure you could shave maybe $5 off there price when you take a good look around but I prefer the brilliant service that comes with the price and am willing to pay the extra $5 so that I don't have to wait 3 weeks.

Don't regret getting the M3 DS Real from AceGamestore, I too was looking at getting the R4 but friends recommended the DS Real, and I haven't looked back....I recommend going the whole hog and getting the Perfect pack with Rumble pack and GBA expansion, I am having so much fun with my DS right now.
Service from AceGamestore was great, just a pity their Preston store closed, meaning I had to haul all the way to St Albans to get my card.
