oh, it is a perfect platform for some special projects... one example is that while i have it apart, i can add a little gizmo that detects heat signatures... and with the write of a nifty little homebrew app to interpret the data, and display it on the screen, means i get a visual image of anything in the range of the sensor that gives off a heat signature... there is a program that is a wifi radar, i want to try it on the ds and see if it may work as is... if not see how easily it is to modify to work on the ds... and some more things i dont care to talk about just yet...

well other than a program that emulates a trek tricorder somewhat... more fun i think to use with an old gbasp, but then i would need a different card to write the program to... so easier to do on a ds for now, then maybe convert to a gbasp and doll it up to look a bit like a tricorder... tho the heat sig detector is kinda neat to add to it as well... least it does something...

depending on if/how well the other projects work out, i may or may not talk about them...

well, i could easily add a thermometer/altimiter, i could make it a fish finder for helping to catch fish... but those are all things my kid can do... well, she could do the heat signature add on too... point is there are a veritable plethora of things that can be done... but to satisfy you and you alone, yes i want to spy on YOU so i know exactly where you are at all times, and hack your wireless network... but only yours... ya know... it doesnt 'hack' per say networks... it locates and utilizes only open ones... and with a ds you are not going to dl all their limit, only use to make a phone call, send an sms, or quick chat on a msg service... maybe dl a map... yes, gps is an add on thought as well... so yes, in your enthusiasm, you are as per usual, wrong... and hey! i saw that!

how would you make a gps out of a ds? the only thing it can do is connect to wireless networks and its difficult to locate a network position on the planet because you would need to hack everything its connected to and get serial numbers of all the hardware and then check government records for where they placed the exact part and when. (i watch a lot of tv)
