I was wondering if anybody knows where i can purchase a battery for my original ds. I can't seem to find any DS batteries aside from the ds lite.

I got a spare battery on eBay quite easily - just search for 'nintendo ds battery' and you'll find it. It's a Chinese copy but it has worked fine for months so far

nintendo australia sells batteries for 30 dollars shipped to your door... that is for the ds phat, they are in stock currently... you can get 3rd party batteries for the phat on ebay for less than half that tho... i need one as well, and am leaning toward the ebay prospect unless i get one shipped from america... no big rush as i can just keep recharging it or play with the charger...

Yeah, I was thinking about just buying one off eBay, but I read a few reviews for a few different random third party batteries which all said they were bad, and I haven't seen any positive reviews for them. I'd want one which would last just as long as the original battery if not longer.
