Hardware \ DS Down Load and Play possible?

I thought it would be cool if we play the Virtual Console games from the Wii on our DS using WiFi.
Has someone done this in the past using Homebrew apps or do you think Nintendo will release something in the future?
What are your thoughts on this?

The closest we will get is the demos from the "Every bodies Nintendo Channel" but I wouldn't mind doing what you said, only if it actually happened. If it did happen, knowing Nintendo we would have to pay for a such service.

I don't think any homebrew at the moment could possibly do a such thing, but as I said, it would be nice.

If you're only 9 meters away, you may as well just play it on a bigger screen, with and easier controls.

EDIT: I guess it would come as a convenience to some people, meaning more people could play it at the one time. Good idea Guyver.

Yeah I was thinking I could be in the other room with the sudden urge to play a VC game but someone else is hogging my TV, down load and play will save me, but realistically I don't think the DS has the processing power to handle all the VC games, it may be able to do some of them.
