So recently I bought a $60 Action Replay after 2 months of resolving an online dispute on ebay and now, after all, it hasn't done anything I've wanted it to do.
I place the AR cartridge in the DS, take it out when required, then place a US copy of Pokemon Pearl into the PAL DS. No surprise, it says 'unknown game'. I've tried holding down a + b, and then a + b + start + select but all that did was reset the ID or something similar and all the codes that came with the game are gone. I have absolutely no idea what to do. I can't even seem to connect my AR to the PC, even with the software installed and with the USB cable in the AR in the DS as required.
I'm tempted to just throw away this currently useless annoyance. Is it even possible to use?
Any help would be greatly, greatly, greatly appreciated.
