Ozmodchips don't sell edge cards anymore because the company of edge cards are making the price really high.
Anyone else with a r4, cyclo ds, m3ds or ackjard ds.

Acekard 2 seems to be a pretty good deal from Ozmodchips. $56 for a card that support sdhc and can play all roms without problem, even FFCC. They even got the gold medal from GBATemp. I would buy one if my R4 died.

R4DS isn't good anymore have you tried cyclods it is awsome i havn't tried but one of my friends have both R4DS and CycloDS and he says the cyclods is better. But R4DS is soldout anyways

R4 is very old, solid in what they have created, but old... it will if you are lucky use a 4gig card, but with what all is on the market now it is no where near a good buy anymore...

M3DS real is pure garbage, yes it works, but after having tried everything, it is just garbage...

Acekard 2 is so cheaply built, it isnt really funny. That alone would keep me (or any sane person not keen on wasting their money) from buying one... it doesnt even have a screw to hold it together!! nasty nasty craftsmanship of any card i have had in my hands period... on the software front, it improves slightly, but it is too cluttered and fidgety with all it has you do b4 you load anything... GBATEMP review says it might be faster than the EDGE, it really is not... and their interface to me is nothing to get excited about... i dont care for how it operates... i think they were high for giving it 'gold' or maybe they mistyped 'bronze' which is still too high a rating... so maybe they meant to type 'sh*t' as that is what it is...

Edge card... not in your list, but fast, clean, very well built... THE choice if Cyclo is too expensive... trade offs, Edge is great! and cheaper but doesnt have real time save if that is important to you... Cyclo is best, real time save, and always only improving... i can see Edge moving forward too with their solid product...

Yes the Edge people have upped their price on a great product by a couple dollars... how many businesses do you know that put out the initial batch of their product for as cheap as they can to get the product into peoples hands to let them see how good it is? it makes good business sense... now that they charge a couple dollars more for their second batch they are greedy? i would say no... if the third batch goes up more, and the fourth, and so on, then maybe... but one would also have to look at improvements if any to the card/firmware in relation... i do not personally see this as going to be the case, but will be watching interestedly...




now where are you getting that the Cyclo is cheaper than the Edge card exactly? 50 dollars for an Edge, 70 for a Cyclo? to me that makes the Edge 20 bucks cheaper....

well, i do not see how my opinion 'differs'... i try these cards out because it is fun, and i want the best one too, which to me is the cyclo... i just try them and tell the truth so that others who cant buy them all can hopefully get an idea of which might suit them best... i will tell you what is good and what sux... and yes everyone has an opinion...

But in all in all ozmodchips has great service especially for Australian custumers. I've seen cyclods it's good i have freinds who have and say it's good. But thi sis my opinion your opinion obviously differs. So yeah i would preffer a Cyclods.
