DS Lite Pros and Cons

 •  Both screens are brighter than the original DS, with more options.

 •  It is a lot lighter than the original DS, and looks nicer.

 •  The Stylus is thinker, making it easier to use. It's in a better spot than on the original DS.

 •  The DS Lite is a lot weaker than the original DS, one drop could cause a crack in the corners and could possibly make the top screen fall off.

 •  The DS Lite still has a GBA slot but any GBA cartridge you put in there will stick out a little bit.

if you chuck on a screen protector would the touch stil work?
