I didn't like the look of a white M3 cartridge sticking out of my black GB Micro, so I ripped apart a GBA cartridge (Sword of Mana [yeesh!]), chiselled its walls thinner and jammed the M3 circuit board in there, using a block of rubber to stop it from sliding inside the case and chips of plastic to keep it pressed down so it would meet the cartridge contacts without incident. Even cut a window in the side for the MicroSD card. Works great, looks great.

I misunderstand exactly what you are asking for. Are you asking where to get Flash Cartridges from, or where to get Homebrew applications?

I just noticed that you think Flash carts back up games and let you play them on emulators. This is incorrect: they let you download games and play them on a DS proper. There is no way for an end-user to backup their own games. Scene groups build their own dumping tools wiki.pocketheaven.com/ to do it. The only way you can backup your games is to download dumps released by Scene groups. This places you on the Honor System, to only download the dumps of games you own, which is why I will not direct anybody to ROM sites.

Yes, that is in fact true. You can legally download and use a ROM as long as you either own an original, or delete the ROM and never play it again after 24 hours. But as I said, ROM downloading works on the honor system, and if you can download a ROM of a game you have, who's to say you can't download a game that you don't? It's only a wrist movement and a click away.

Also, no homebrew pinball game appears on Google.

This bit contradicts itself. First Nintendo says that there is a very narrow exception that lets you make a copy in case of destruction of the original, and then later says that ROM downloading of any sort is illegal. There is no other way to back up a DS game, unless you make your own dumper.

Nintendo is just covering its bases.
