General \ DS lite replacement shell case

Hey guys~ :] I got a crack on my DS hinge and I'm nto happy about it, does anyone know where in perth that I can get a replacement shell case? or a place I can get it professionally done, I don't really want to buy one online and do it myself. *cry*

If it were me I would probably just buy a replacement case, One of those clear ones would be different. Based on the video's on youtube, it does not really look that hard at all. Most of the replacement cases come with a Nintendo screwdriver which can be used on other Nintendo products as well.

I also found out that my sisters ds lite has one as well...

They told me it would cost $70-$80, so I haven't bothered sending it to them. ( They just give you a new one, anyway.) Hence the reason I don't play my DS. This is my second broken DS Lite, there's a manufacture fault. It's too weak in the hinge. My top screen has nearly come off completely.

My 7 year old is as ruff as buggery, he jumps up and down with his DS when he gets excited and jumps onto the couch with it firmly in his hands and his is still fine. You guys must be playing footy with em or dropping them.. My son has a wrist strap on his to stop him dropping it.

have never seen them come out of the box broken... but they can break with one drop if it lands the wrong way... it is just the design of smaller/sleeker... nifty looking, kind of practical, but has its flaws/drawbacks... if you tend to drop things, i would tell you to get a phat...

as far as cases, this is australia! there are no shops for alot of things, and if you cant order online, then maybe just deal with it? just seems like peeps have online phobias or some such...
