I droped it a year ago and the right hinge broke.Everything was working thou.I super glued the hinge and now my right shoulder button is stuck.Last week my left shoulder button stopped working.After that I kept it for charging.Now every time I play a game the ds turns off after every 2 minutes. Luckly I bought a new ds lite

Bwahaha. That's a lie, I always leave my DS in the charger, even when the light is green. It isn't broken.

It won't break the DS but it will kill your battery life.
Two scenarios:
- If you charge the battery while not at zero capacity, you shorten the battery life.
- If you play it while the DS is charging then you shorten the battery life considerably.

Pretend that every battery has some sort of memory module that knows how much is full capacity. You alter that capacity (ie. 100% = 60%) when you don't drain the battery properly before charging. That's the dummies way of explaining it.

well when i first bought my ds lite i thought nothing of it but when you look at the bottom screen against the plastic side theres 1 part were a light bright shines through and only from that one spot. everything else works fine though
