I just cant get into this game. I love my pokemon games but I just cant get into the Pokemin Dungeon series. I think its the gameplay. Is there something really wrong with me?

this is one of the best games ever! i am so obsessed... :S samillence there is nothing wrong with you. you just like other games. although, i don't know how u don't like it
still need a water pokemon.. kabutops is not very good.. or maybe i just need to train it.

answer contains spoilers!
recruits (be prepared for spoilers): After you enter the post-ending and beat Mystifing Forest, Luminous Spring will be open to you. Go in there, and you can evolve your pokemon if it is the right level or if you have the right item.
starters: (only once game is complete... 
)
Once you beat Darkrai, do three jobs. Manaphy will show up again, all grown up, and ask to join your team. Accept it. Do three more jobs. It will show up one day and tell you that it unlocked Marine Resort. After that, go recruit Palkia. If you already have recruited it, its fine. You can find him/her at the bottom/top of Spacial Rift. Once done, go to Luminous Spring and your starters can evolve! Don't expect a cutscene, because there isn't one. It just pops up.

i don't see how u guys find it hard!
i never die and all i realy need is 1 reviver seed for backup extremely symple if u know what moves to use.
i fought the boss of the game allong with 7 other pokemon at the same time. no damage at all and it was a very, very fast battle
mewtwo is very hard to recruit. tried it a few times. low rate but easy to kill

I was up all night finding the right unknown. I had no apples or reviver seeds and i kept dieing from hunger!
