There is a thread similar to this one over at MyWii and because we have quite a few girl gamers here, we need one here too!

This is a place for all girl gamers to talk to each other and where the topic of "girl gamers" in general can be discussed.

So to start things off...

Is the DS your first introduction into gaming or were you a girl gamer long before now?

I've been a gamer most of my life too. I've been through Atari, Amiga, C64, Sega, Nintendo (handhelds), Playstation, XBox, various forms of PC and Wii. *phew* Showing my age now.

My Dad has always been into computers and stuff and my husband has worked in the field in one way or another since i've known him so computers/consoles etc have pretty much always been a part of my life.

Ok so I had just joined becuase of your post. Presviously I would browse but never post, then read this thread and just had to join.

I have been gaming for about 20 years now. Started off with the Super nintendo and then basically have every gaming console since.

My DS is new best friend. It goes everywhere I go and I don't leave home without it.

The guys at work all buzz out when they hear that I'm into games and they love it when I get all technically on them. Its funny cause they think that just because Im a girl they assume that I don't know. TIMES HAVE CHANGED BOYS, WE ARE A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH .

PS. My fav games are Super Marios, Splinter Cell, Tomb Raider, Trauma Center, and Puzzle games.

I'm still playing CrossworDS. I go back and forth with Touchmaster and i'm starting to get back into Professor Layton.

I don't post here much, I'm mainly over at mywii, but I thought I'd pop in and say hello. I hope this one goes aswell as the one on MyWii for you all.

I've had my DS for over a year now and I still love it. Although I'm thinking of upgrading it to a brand new shiny Crimson/Black one and fending off my old white one to a relative

I've been playing Elite Beat Agents atm, always wanted to try it out and was glad I bought it when I found it for $16 a Kmart! Very addictive little game.
I've been playing my Wii a little more though, good old Mario Kart and Dr. Mario, aswell as getting into Wii-fit.

My first console was an Atari 2600.... No! I'm not old! I was very young!
