Highly doubt it as the DS is seeing how results in terms of bringing in money for Nintendo and to many people would then get turned off buying a DS if they already don't have one which could hurt sales, especially in Japan, but I wouldn't be surprised if they unveil one next year.

I'd like a new DS as long as the new console is actually new, not with DS in it's name. But it should be able to play old DS games, and cut out the GBA support because if they keep it, the console would be rather large. New console that's backwards compatible with DS games.

Why? I mean that would only increase loading times, the size of the disc/cartridge and what not. I think the DS graphics are great as they are, but yeah the next console will have better graphics than the DS, but hopefully not too good.

Dude, how long are loading times on the DS now? 0 Seconds? Most games don't have loading times so I think people can wait a extra few seconds.
I'm not saying lets improve the graphics dramatically because it's sooo bad, I'm just sayng a little improvfement would be nicer.
The DS graphics right now are great for cell shaded art styles and all but is not that good for real 3D style graphics.
And one mor thing they need to improve on, is sound.
It's not as loud as I hoped it would be plus if you listen to music on your flash carts its very low. Even with earphones.

I see you fixed up your quote? Character limit can be a pain. Maybe the new handheld should be super slim and have awesome graphics. And maybe, just maybe, cut the Touch Screen? Oh, and good sound.

Of course they will eventually release a new one!
If they do have Wi-FI, they need to update the Wi-FI security settings because if i want my WI-Fi to work i have to take off my new security settings on my router.
I wouldn't mind a camera and a improved mic. that would be pretty cool

I couldn't careless about improving graphics. Why should people be obsessed with making things realistic when video games are supposed to take us away from reality?

And sound is fine to me. Headphones resolve all my sound problems.
