I recently got a DS and after playing and finishing a few games, I'm really interested in getting the hardware to be able to play games, homebrews etc. from ds rom sites.

Please list the things I need to play homebrews and roms.

What things should I get off the net and what should I buy from a computer store to be able to play such games?

Well you need a flash card like the CycloDS and you'll all so need is a micro sd card. Theirs no software to be installed its all plug and play. Just put your micro sd memory card into a card reader plug it into a usb slot and drag the roms onto it. I would suggest make a folder called NDS roms just to make it easy to locate the roms. Well if you get the cylopsDS it comes with a micro SD card reader.

I browsed recently and noticed dealextreme.com has the cheapest CycloDS Evo you'll ever see. Otherwise get it from ozmodchips.com.au.

You should get at least a 4GB Micro SD or else you're going to realise you need more space.

Go to www.cyclopsds.com/ and download the latest firmware and copy the contents onto the MicroSD.

gbatemp.net supplies a lot of user submitted homebrew so check that out.

We can't tell you where to download roms but I can tell that a proper rom file ends with extension .nds
