Hey all, I'm looking at getting an R4 and i want to backup my pokemon diamond gamesave so i can put the save on the r4 to use with the "backup" of the game to go with my other backups. but I dont know how I don't have a slot 2 device... Can anyone in melbourne help me s/e suburbs around dandenong.. will need your help once i get a R4 just needa kno someone with a slot2 that can backups saves can help

I use Xplodemaster to do this. its designed to load saves onto an original cartridge but can work in reverse.

i belive the app is run on your computer and when the game goes to wifi it detects the save and copys it im not positive will try and find a link in a min EDIT: sorry i thought it could back up the save from the original cartrigde but its from the homebrew cart soz my bad there is another way to backup ds saves but im not sure how to do it

Only way I know is with an Xploder. One end plugs into the USB of a computer and your original plugs in the other end of the cable.

It's a little fiddly, and you have to make sure that your firewall is turned off (I tried just allowing access when it prompted me, but it wasn't enough, it had to be turned off) and I got it working easily enough.

It uses Wifi though, and creates a FTP server on your computer.
