you can only get afriend code in that game! its not a thing in the ds menu. So once you get pearl you should go multiplayer or wifi than choose friend code and you can add friends and look at yours!

on your top taskbar click view than text size than a larger size!

And i was only taking a guess with pearl. thats what most game friend codes are.
