Spectrobes - 8/10

SUMMARY

Spectrobes is a game that takes place in a galaxy with 7 planets but there are different areas where you fly to the main character in the game is Rallen an officer of an orginisation called the NPP and he is on a mission to investigate a crash on a planet called Kollin and he finds a gadget called the primizoid and discovers that it has the power to control Spectrobes.


AIM

In the game you play as Rallen doing special missions like collect fossils, cubes, minerals, keystones and defeating enemys. The enemy in the game are the Krawl they are alot like spectrobes but stronger and usually slower. Searching for cubes minerals and fossils is the way to go because you will become stronger and it will prepare you for tough incounters.


SPECTROBES

Your spectrobes are in the end what win you the game, they are stonger they level up and they dont cost anything. They also have evolutions(just like in pokemon) they each have 3 evolutions:
-Baby
-Adult
-Evolved

To get the fossils you must search with a baby spectrobe and dig them out once you dig them out you go back to the ship and revive them.


BATTLE

You will come across battles alot through the game some more challenging than others it is alot easier with spectrobes around but once they die you have no chance at all. evolving your spectrobes makes it alot easier and when you get to the 3rd planet you can buy equipment such as:
-Swords
-Gloves
-Blasters
-Armor
-items
They all upgrade your stats but you get the money from fighting battles boss fights are quite hard in the game but the rest are quite easy.


OVERALL

Graphics 9/10
they are great graphics especially the cutscenes but rallen runny around isnt the highlight of the game

Controls 6/10
arnt the best but are very simple but nothing radical

Gameplay 5/10
It varys from player to player i enjoy it but ben hates it its hard to tell whether its the right game for you

Sound 8/10
its great in the cutscenes but can turn into pokemon music

Overall 8/10
Its a good game but its just like a slightly worse pokemon and if you dont like pokemon this isnt the game for you
