The last in the LOTR series and a great note to finish on you can buy upgrades and play as 8 different characters including: Aragorn, Legolas, Gandolf and Gimli. This is a hack and slash RPG but it still has a unique configuration of attributes, magic spells, special skills, and weapon possibilities and each different character has different attributes for example Aragorn is strong and can use heavy swords such as long swords and falchions, but he isn't trained in the use of bows, staves

The Gameplay is brilliant i still cannot finish and that fact that it is lasting so long its almost getting annoying when I realize that i am probably only half way through after 40 play hours which is amazing seeing as that quality is so rare in GBA games!!!!!

My favorite character is Gandalf but i dont wish I was playing as him every minute of the game the characters have great balance and so I am not just looking forward to the next time I get to play as Gandalf but enjoying playing as Aragorn or Legolas which really makes the play enjoyable i sit at the menu screen for sometimes 10 minutes just deciding what character I am going to choose....

But there is of course a downside to this game it can become very repetitive being a hack and slash RPG your are constantly just tapping the A button for 20 minutes you began to get very very bored.... lol still tapping but of course the fact that you can customize your player as a new gameplay aspect but that also can get very boring consider the lack of choice and the fact that Aragorn can pretty much only use swords and any bows you get you cant use which sucks considering the high hopes I had after being able to use archer in the PS2 version of this game.

The RPG element of this game is very linear the course through out the game is completely scripted and the only RPG element is the customization though the game is scripted the developers will argue that though you have one place you need to go there are many ways to get there but that basically means you have to spend alot of time walking round and round in circles!!!!!

All in all this is a decent hack and slash RPG which is great if thats your thing for anyone else i wouldn't recommend it unless you are willing to put in the hours dont even bother
