As it suggests on the television ad; 'All the joys of cooking, no cleaning up!' Is this to suggest that only gamers whom find cooking enjoyable will find interest in this game? In one word-yes. Cooking Mama is almost in a genre of it's own, as you have no character, therefore eliminating it as being an RPG. It is most certainly not an RTS, and more sure than toaster with a tie- not FPS. So what is it? Well a series of mini-games that make up a mini-game in a series of mini-games that make up 'Cooking Mama'. Cooking Mama is a great 'kiss-the-cook' game as you are put in the place of a chef, (or cook, depending on your skill.) wanting to earn culinary coolness. Many, many different recipes, even more mini-games! Engage in addictive mini-games, each of which are put together to create one ultimate meal. Not ultimate enough? Combine two meals together, and create a wonderful, and fresh meal idea! Cooking mama requires a bit of breath, as the DS microphone is used to cool down meals. The game is DS Download Play compatible, allowing up to 4 players to participate in some kitchen-kraziness! Do not be alarmed by the game's ESRB rating for Alcohol Reference, as it merely suggests that a little red wine and vinegar or such should be added. Cooking Mama is really just a series of mini-games, that makes up one, big enjoyable game.
