Animal Crossing - Wild World - 10/10

I know this game has been reviewed a lot of times, but I am so addicted to it at the moment that I just had to do a review.

Other reviews already advise how to play and so on so I will just go over what I like about the game.

Firstly I like how the time in real life matches the time in the game. Most games you can go through ten days in one day but here, if you play at night its night in the game. The only thing is that the seasons are set to the northern hemisphere so its winter during our summer. The real time thing can also be annoying for me being a shift worker in real life. The shop in the game is closed when I am awake. During these weeks I offset the time by about 8 hours. I know this is kind of cheating but I had trouble building wealth not being able to sell anything.

Along the same line as above, I like how things change depending on the time of the year. New fish become available which gives the game a longer life even thou it seems to already have an infinite life on its own.

The different holidays and festivals that spring up give the game new adventure every now and then.

I like how other residents interact with you and that if you pay more attention to one than another you build relationships quicker with that resident. I like the competition with other residents like catching a certain fish or bug first. I do like the fishing, the sound of the water is soothing and relaxing. I like how every now and then you can customize a residents greeting or catch phrase, I have mine saying things like brother, homie and beatch and the girls call me spunky, lover and honey. I know this is weird but its all in fun.

Being able to design your own cloths is fun but I have not done much of that. I have decided to fill my museum rather than sell everything just to see if I can get the set of everything. I know the fossils are worth a bit but oh well. At least my visitors will have something to look at.
I am not really into colour coding my interior of my house, I know you get more points for sets and things but it does not interest me at this stage.

This game is fantastic. When I first tried it I gave it about 5 minutes and thought it was crap so that was it. After reading a thread in the forum I gave it a go again and have not looked back. I now wish I had a DS when this game was all the rage and everyone was playing it.

Great for ages 6 and up.

Sound - 9/10
