So you've 'Gotta catch em all' right? But you could make it to a Nintendo Event to score Darkrai and you can't get anyone to trade. So what the heck do you do?!
Thanks to MyDS Members we've put together a guide on how you can score Darkrai. We're gonna be presenting both the legitimate and illegitimate ways you can get this one.
First off, the illegitimate way, since thats the one you're more likely to use.

First off, go buy some form of cheating device; generally, use an Action Replay. So gogogo! Go buy one! www.ebay.com.au should generally have a few for sale. :)
Here we go, a step by step instruction on how to catch the bugger:
1. Get Your Action Replay/similar device and boot it up
2. Select a few codes that you think could help you; master balls, etc. MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE THE CODE WHICH ALLOWS YOU TO WALK THROUGH WALLS.
3. To get Darkrai, you need to unlock a certain island. Go to Canalave City.
4. Head over to the Sailor's house and head on in. You'll find that a young lad is sick and needs something to make him heal.
5. Talk to the Sailor at the ship and he will ask you if you could help his sick son. Tell him Yes. Then you will go to Cresselia Island.
6. You will find Cresselia and you can't battle it till you track it down. The Pokemon will drop something after you see a picture of it. Pick it up, you don't have to give it to the sailor now.
7. SAVE!!!!!
8. I hope you activated the code which allows you to walk through Walls and Objects like I said, because now is the time to use it. Head east of the place where Cresselia was. Don't be afread when it says Mystery Zone, just keep goin' till you see more trees or see something. You'll arrive at Newmoon Island.
9. Seeing as Newmoon Island is exactly next to Cresselia's Resting Island (Can't think of the name.), you should go EXACTLY east. You should NOT have exited out of where you first saw Cresselia.
10. Scary, creepy eerie music plays, so look around Newmoon Island. You'll find an opening just like you did on Cresselia's Island. Go inside.
11. SAVE!!!!!!
12. Battle Darkrai. It is Level 40. Good luck!
Secondly, we present you the legit way of getting Darkrai. Unless there's another Nintendo event chances are you won't get to use this one but here it is for the curious

To catch Darkrai, you have to obtain a Membership pass at a Nintendo Event.
Once you obtain the item Membership Pass at the event, Go to Canalave City and you will be able to access the Motel which has previously been locked.
Go there for a night's sleep and you will be disturbed by Darkrai in your sleep. When you wake up, a Diary will be there which contains Darkrai's location. Go to the Sailor at the bottom of the city and he will take you there. When you get to the island, you can go up and battle Darkrai. It is at Lv. 40!
So there you go, a crash course for Pokemon Masters in how to get their hands on Darkrai!
