Space Invaders Extreme - 8/10

Summary:
Space Invaders is a 30 Year Anniversary of the original Space Invaders Game and plays some what the same.


Gameplay - 9
If you have played the original space invaders game you should know what to expect plus more as although it plays similar there are a few times in which the invaders decide to play a little bit differently which adds to the game as sometimes you never know how the invaders will come down at you whether it be traditonally or just straight down as suicide bombers you will never know.

Also extra valua is that sometimes you have different weapons at your advantage, or disadvantage sometimes.

The difficulty of the game is also really surprising as when I picked the game up I thought it would be some what easy but I have spent hours playing the game and have only managed to make it up to level four as you need to be really prepared. Online activity that is also added for online rankings it also extra fun added but it won't get you far if you don't have much experince.


Graphics - 8
The in game graphics are really stunning as although the invaders are the same and have just had some color added to them but the backgrounds of the battle and the whole techno theme of the game works really well.


Sound - 7
The sound is really great with the background techno music which adds great value to the game but can sometimes get boring, the only other sound you will really encounter is when you hear what round your doing or the sound of the invaders and your shooting.


Replay - 9
This game has alot of replay value which has made Space Invaders what it is today and gives lots of gameplay whether your replaying the same level over and over again to get a new score or your just stuck on that level but like the game so much you want to make it to the next level no matter how hard it will be for you.


Overall 8/10
This game has achieved much for what it is and is really great fun.
