Guitar Rock Tour DSi-Ware - 6/10

Guitar Rock Tour, essentially Guitar Hero or Rock Band in DSi-Ware version.

Guitar Rock Tour has featured before on Iphones, Ipod Touches and its own full DS game. The DSi-Ware version has differences to the other versions, the most notable the lack of lyrics! But I guess something had to give to make the game fit in a nice download-able package. The music isn't exactly high quality either yet this game is beginning to grow on me for some reason.

I think the main reason I enjoyed this game is its easy to pick-up gameplay and relatively low price-tag. The game features popular songs such as "Beat It" and "Smoke on the Water" and also lets you play the drums in addition to guitar. I recommend this to anyone new to Guitar games who wants to give it a go (as was my situation).

Overall this game just meets it's 500 points cost and isn't really going to cut it if you have any other guitar game but if your like me it's a good comfortable entrance into the "Guitar Game" world:

Sound: 5/10
No lyrics and music isn't high quality but you'll certainly be able to rock to it!

Graphics: 7/10
When on stage there are some nice special effects although they go almost unnoticed as your attention is always on the touch screen.

Gameplay: 7/10
The title gives quick play to any song unlocked, career mode and unlockable awards giving it some re-playability. The actual guitar playing is put together nicely with fun "power-ups".
