Speed racer is based on the movie. Speed racer is part racing game and part skate boarding game. This game contains thrilling tracks and unique cars. Speed racer was published by Warner Bros Interactive and is Available on the DS and also the Wii and ps2. -Gameplay- This game involves racing. To be more exact, Contact racing. Experience the unbelievable gameplay this game contains. Your main point is to win the race. Stopping you objective is your rivals. You can defeat them by bowling them over or performing amazing stunts. The more difficult the stunt is the more points you will get. After performing tricks and stunts you will earn energy for your car. By pressing L (Default) on your DS/DSi you will burst out with speed but decreasing your energy at the same time. There are different kinds of modes you can play in, there’s "Arcade" where you can compete in, "Quick Races" which are single races against 5 opponents, "Time Attacks" where it’s you against the clock, "Quick Stunts" where you put your car through a series of spins, flips, and whatnot, and "Quick Battle" where you can battle and use your Car-fu. In order to advance and unlock new cars, drivers, and racetracks you will have to compete in the World Racing League. Like in the movie where he battles it out to win the league. You can also unlock objects by getting fans. Performing tricks and stunts will earn you that reward. -Graphics - - 7/10 I am really surprised about the stunning graphics. You can tell that Warner Bros Interactive spend lots of time making sure that every little detail is correct and perfect. -Gameplay- Speed racer is a combat racing game where you can knock down your opponent using a technique called "Car-fu". You can play in awesome stages and experience the combat between cars. -What I think?- Speed racer is a great game and i recommend you consider this game as your christmas present because its one of the most thrilling racing game there is on the DS.
