Overview Pokemon its my drug. Yes I am, as many other people across the world a pokemon addict. When I start a new game, going on a new adventure, I cant stop!
Also, I would like to say that if you have any of these version:
Pokemon Saphier
Pokemon Ruby
Pokemon Leaf Green
Pokemon Fire Red
Then i recoment DONT SELL THEM You will need them if you want to get anywhere near completing your pokedex because this game does contain a feature called Pal Park where you can send Pokemon from your older versions (mentioned above) which will then get sent to Pal Park where you can re-catch them in your Pokemon Diamond or Pearl 
(please note that after your Pokemon have been sent, they cannont be retrived back to your old games 
)
Let Downs A major let down in Pokemon is the same old story line. From begining to end, the story line is almost exacly the same as older version of the game. As soon as you turn on the game for the first time, as always you do see a professor talking to you about "The world of Pokemon" which I bet 90% of plays just bashed there A button before he could finish his sentence! Another thing is its pretty easy to get from badge 1 to badge 8, then beat the elite 4 and become a Pokemon master. It would be a lot more fun if it was a lot harder to become a Pokemon master, especially when you can do it easily under 2 days of game play (48 hours) I mean REALLY easily
Also, pokemon names. Yes, there running out of idea! I mean, after 300+ Pokemon, you just can't keep coming up with instant classics like Charizard. But they are trying with Chimchar, obviously a write off of the well know Charmander. Except this time instead of a tail being alight...it is its bum 
My fingers trembling, my hearts racing! I throw my pokeball! Will I catch it! Yes!.... HOLD ON! I caought a Bidoof! What a waste of a ball!
Bidoof, the most annoying Pokemon! Common, unavoidable! Officaly called

Interests Memory
Yes, this game has been proven to improve memory! Trying to memorise all pokemon names and all moves will improve your memory. If that’s not a good enough reason to get it, then i dont know what is! Also, if you play on wi-fi, you can actually talk to your opponent using voice chat! Say goodbye to long distant calls, why not have a game of pokemon, and catch up to a old buddy overseas!
Touch Screen Yes, the well loved touch screen feature is well used in this game. Its not over used only majorly used during battles where you can select you moves by touching them using the stylus on the touch screen. This idea is very good. But some people are disappointed because before launch there were rumors that drawing a circle around your wild Pokemon you are willing to catch, will throw a pokeball, and I was kind of looking forward to expirament with that feature
Annoyance One word, hackers! On wi-fi, you cant escape them! Be careful with who you trade/battle with, they might be giving you the wrong idea about them! But then again, if Nintendo did make a game where you only needed one version of the Pokemon to complete the Pokedex, then we wouldn’t have as much problems!
Is it worth it? Of course, money doesn’t grow on trees, and Pokemon games have never been cheap, but i do recoment start saving for it, it is a great game, you would get easly over 100 hours game play if you fully understand the game. Also, on the back of the box it does say that
Basic Reading Ability is needed to fully enjoy this game
So, if you buy this game and
do have a bad reading ability, you wont enjoy this game at all!
The verdict
Pokemon, how can you say no? You really can’t out grow this game, I do recommend getting it, a must for all DS owners out there!
