When it comes to Nintendo it’s all about the numbers, how many consoles they have sold this generation, how many millions upon squillions of dollars they have accumulated, and how many first rate titles they have under their belt. I can handle this, but that I can’t handle is when they decide that us gamers should stop gaming and become accountants.

“What the hell is this guy on about” you may be asking yourself. First of all lets talk about Nintendo’s Friend-Code System. It’s seriously ANNOYING. First of all you have to ask your friend for their digits, input them into your system, then you have to give them your digits, and they have to add you also, and your code changes depending what game you are playing! What happened to a simple username and add function like every other platform out their on the market.

Then we have the console ID which is a different code again, used to send messages to another friends Wii.

Now Wii Speak is out, and not only do you have to download the software from the Wii-Store you have to enter....that’s right ladies and gentleman, MORE DIGITS. This download code will only work on once console too, so don’t have any grand ideas of taking your Wii Speak peripheral around to a friends house to show them what’s it’s all about.

Well at least kids this generation should be good at maths!
