News \ Pokemon Gold & Silver Remakes Confirmed

Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver Confirmed

The official Japanese Pokemon Website has confirmed the existence of the rumoured Pokemon Gold & Silver remakes. The site today announced Pokemon Heart Gold and Pokemon Soul Silver for the Nintendo DS.

The site claims the games will retail for 2300 Yen (approx AUD $31, although assuming them come to Australia expect to pay a little more than that). They are scheduled to be released in Japan later this year to coincide with the 10 year anniversary of the original release of Pokemon Gold & Silver. It is unclear when the games will see an English release.

Fans speculated that this would be the 'special announcement' that is set to occur on the Pokemon show in Japan on Sunday. At this stage it's expected that they will make this more official and release some more concrete details.

Diamond and Pearl = Revived Pokemon
Platinum = Better than DP, and Battle Frontier!

I don't think you have to worry K-Man late 2010 would be my guess as to when they'll be released.
