Finally, the long awaited second part to Professor Layton series is here! While Japan fans have seen three games already with a fourth game anticipated in fall 2009, offshore counterparts have seen no news about further sequels of the game since Professor Layton and the Curious Village. Until E3 2009 that was, when Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box was confirmed for release in America. The second game follows the same unique formula as the first game, combining an intriguing story with logic puzzles scattered throughout the different locations. This time, Professor Layton and his apprentice Luke, find themselves on a journey revolving around a mysterious box that kills anyone who opens it. Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box is set to be released on August 24 (US).
