Although there isn't as much buzz surrounding the DSi, like there was when the DS lite was announce, it doesn't mean that the DSi isn't selling well.

With the DSi already having sold 6.86 million units worldwide many people probably know that it's selling well. In fact the DSi is selling aster than, the DS, faster than the DS lite and faster than the Wii in the amount of time the DSi has been available.

Denise Kaigler, Nintendo of America's vice president of corporate affair, the DSi has sold more units than the previous DS iterations, DS and DS lite, and Nintendo's next gen console, the Wii, in it's first 3 months of sale in America. The original DS sold 1.38 million units in it's first 3 months, the DS lite sold 1.07 million and the Wii managed 1.52 million. the DSi succeeded in selling 1.7 million during it's first 3 weeks of sale to the American public.
