Considering being in the army means you are not always in the most stable environment and don’t always have the luxury of the latest LCD TV, handheld games have began to take off a solution to chronic boredom.
However handheld consoles do not grow on trees so this is where www.gamesforheroes.com, a non-profit, registered charity steps in. Established by gaming school students Peter Gallagher and Jack Wilson the charity aims to get handheld consoles, such as the DS, PSP and Gameboy into the hands of the brave men and woman serving overseas, so they can still enjoy the hobby we love so much while serving.
Looks like joining the army doesn’t have to halt your passion for gaming.
