Social \ What browser do you use?

Guyver says:

When I first got my computer I was using Internet Explorer but was quickly convinced to change over to Firefox, and I haven't turned back. Recently I've had the chance to try out Safari on a Mac while at trade school, which does the job I guess but it makes some site look a bit different.
What internet browser to you guys use?

True dat! I usually have no less than 5 tabs open at once most of the time it's all Mymedia, and you got to love the bookmark toolbar of Firefox.

Anyone made the comparison between IE7 and Firefox to notice how much Microsoft set out to rip off Firefox2? They took the tabs and bookmark bar and added a heap on space wasting side junk onto that which only leaves enough room for two tabs. Oh and the Google search bar in the top right? Don't get me started.

What kind of compatiblity are you talking about? A website simply not working? If anything Firefox is more compatible than Opera. Last I heard, Opera still didn't like inline frames.

If you're talking about the way a site is displayed, though, like imagemaps broken up, then that's still the case, but it's not Firefox's fault. Firefox renders pages correctly, according to the proper specifications. Internet Explorer throws the specifications out the window and does its own thing. Generally a website built specifically for Internet Explorer displays funny on everything else.

I'm on Firefox.

This is what I am talking about. There is a setting in Opera that allows it to operate as IE this seems to fix a multitude of problems. I don't think as many people are designing IE specific websites as there was.
