I used my gameshark to dup. items in ruby, and now i cant fit as many items anymore in my bag, its like it erased memory or sumthin where i cant fit that many items in my bag, same goes for my pc(in game), even after i deleted the 20 masterballs and 789 nuggets!!!

Like many things in life, it's good in moderation.

If you start inserting a vast number of items/skills/etc. with hacked stars you'll start glitching. If find using one code at a time is good practise.

it actually depends on the game. if it is pokemon then you are safe. it is a game that is like minish cap where you can crash the game by geting something wat too early then yes it is dangerous.
