Hardware \ No more DS browser

At the moment I believe the only homebrew that supports even pictures is the DS linux app "retawq". Okiwa is only barely up to form support, a good step for homebrew browsers, but no homebrew internet browser supports JAVA.

Also implementing flash has had little difficulty on ds. It hasn't been implemented in any reasonable capacity, and Opera couldn't fit it in their ds browser. Ds may be hardware limited from running flash, especially within another program such as a web browser.

I'd be interested in knowing where your information is from.

Heh. Good work.

Javascript is not Java. The DS is not powerful enough to both store and run a Java virtual machine. Same deal with Flash.

Simply not enough processing power right now, even with the RAM boost from Slot 2 flash carts.

But don't worry, you're not missing out on much. I've run both the official DS browser and two different homebrew applications. They're basic and functional but no better than what can be acheived on most 3G phones.
