Ok Its Very Difficult To decide Between 360 and Wii. Wii is an untested idea and I think it will be a couple of years before some good games are released and its power is harnessed. The 360 is a fantastic console right now because of its catalogue: Bioshock, CoD 4, Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, Oblivion... etc. and it is the console for the FPS gamer.

You guys just missed out the sale for K-Mart on Thursday, where the Premium (Possibly the Pro bundle - HDMI support on console) was on sale with 2 games for $499! The average price now adays is around $540 with two games. Totally great value!

360 has cool buttons. Unlike PS where the controller is the same uncofortable crap from YEARS ago.

Don't forget the 360 had decent head start over the Wii and Ps3, all consoles have their strong and weak points though.
My suggestion Adommer would be go and play games from all systems and make your decision on that, you can also do a bit of research through videogame news articles and see what the manufactures have done in the past where they are heading in the future. Don't forget fanboys will all ways be more bias towards their own system of choice.

The 360 provides actin and thrill and that is sort of what i want and the wii has the remote and the games that i like mario, pokemon, zelda etc but i have that decision on wheather to get 360 or wii.
