i did some looking on google and i found a site which has fixed the problem. I downloaded it and it now works fine for me.

I also had trouble setting mine up natty270 but i tried to allow it to search by itself without inputting information. Also check your ports on the router. hope it helps

to my knowledge Beup only works when using a wireless router

i have a wireless router but the ds doesnt connect to it properly my wii does though ,thats why i bought a usb connecter

Concerning the well known "doing handshake..." error:

-I am able to play my DS games online, so my wifi should be ok.
-The SSID of my router shows up in the beup application
(I am running Beup Live 0.3e.nds)
-I provide the correct information for the input boxes (IP, Gateway etc)
-I have an gmail account which works in MSN messenger.

Then I try to connect and I get the doing handshake error.

Can someone who is successfully running the Beup on their DS please provide some info on their setup? Then we can cross check and find out what's wrong with my setup. That would have been really great

It seems the file you are refering to is older than the one availible at www.area-ds.com/

Is it actually working "as we speak"?

Anyone else has beup up and running?
