I've looked but can't find the answer to my question. How many Pokemon are in Diamond and Pearl? Do they have the full 493 or not all of them?

there are 493 pokemon altogether. Not all 493 are on Diamond and pearl. For emaple, if you want Rayquaza then you'd have to get it from Emerald etc. SO yeah, but you can get most pokemon in it. Check Serebii.net they have the full D&P pokedex
