Hmmmm.... thats an interesting question. As far as I know, no its not. However the 4GB has been shown to be almost fully compatible whether there is a difference between the two I am unsure. Maybe some other wiz kids can help you!

Yeah the only downside i find with the R4 is the storage limit but other than that its pretty good. I've used my freinds M3 Real and i find it takes a bit longer to load up but its not big deal.

Also i sure most of you would know that there's a ROM Trimmer program that makes roms smaller without losing anything. Its on the R4DS website incase people wanna know.

i use a 2GB and i have no problems, i want more space though so a 4GB or 8GB would be nice if they could work on my R4.

try tokyotrim it works for the R4 aswell and I have had no problems. Batch trimming!
