Hi!
Im buying a ds lite tomorrow, so I was wondering what I need.
My mates has a DS and he can watch videos, download games, listen to music and view photos, but he wasnt using an r4, he was using something else from asia :S

I only really want to be able to download games and watch videos on it, so what will I need and where can I get it for the best price and ships to australia :?



Oh also I have a wireless network for my laptop and 360 running through the house, so is there a way to access teh web through the ds :?

The best place to buy in Australia is www.ozmodchips.com they are widely trusted and 100% legitimate and the owner is even a member of this site!

For a 1GB MicroSD on eBay is can be anywhere from $9-$18 In stores $20-$24. For a 2GB MicroSD stores and eBay are pretty similar ranging from $30-$40

R4 is $50 from Ozmodchips, I would not go with the TT+MicroSD deal!

I was thinking about getting the 2gb version.
on this link it has a comparison between the m3, r4 and TT, that should explain a bit shuffle ^^
So if I did get the r4 from Ozmodchips is 1gb enough, can you guys give me an example of how much 1gb can hold in games and vids approx.? Cos I can get the TT with 2gb for the same price.

40ish DS games. Actually now that i think about it a 2hr movie is probably like 400mb...DSTT I have never used. M3 Real works alright but R4DS is prob the best for reliability and everything. If you are only getting a 2GB its safe to get an R4.

A 2 hour movie is only about 300mb!

I don't know anybody using TT at all, everyone I know uses R4 and believes it is the best.....

I would advise you get a 2GB card I bought that and now am realizing I am probably gonna have to get another for games and keep the first for music and movies.

by the way moonshell makes a fantastic MP3 player the playback sounds great and its easy to skip/pick songs and fast forward using a touch screen!
