Just got my first DS and my mates has close to 1500 games that he is going to let me pick and choose from. I am currently playing Mario Party DS but am already up to Bowser after less than 2 days of playing. I have also recently played Resident Evil DS which is the ONLY reason I got a DS in the first place.

So I put this to you guys...

What is the BEST DS game on the market right now?!?!?!?!

Nintendogs
Mario 64DS
Star Fox Command

If you like old skool play: Geometry Wars: Galaxies

If you're into mini/micro games: Wario Ware Touched is also great.

Number one for me though is Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

i don't understand why people glorify mario 64 ds. maybe because i've never played the n64 version before, but supposedly it's an update from the n64 version (it's not exactly eye candy either). i got bored of it when i was walking for a minute to the castle only to find out i needed a key, then had to walk for another minute (not to mention that bridge that slowed my movement down (intuitive, but annoying!) just to find a rabbit that had the key, chase that rabbit for 5 seconds, eat him up like a stork holding a baby, then walk all the way back to the castle for another minute. boring!

mario kart ds and elite beat agents are games for everyone.
zelda is pretty good also but i don't fancy rpg/adventure.
best on the market? most likely zelda. you'll find less of those on the shelf unless they're pre-owned.

why because its zelda... and it lives up to any zelda game out there. imagine zelda on the n64/gamecube/and wii, but this time on ds.... graphics arent as good but they are still great, the gameplay is awesome
