Recently we have just constructed a guide that is filled with information about selecting the right WiFi router for the Nintendo DS.

It contains information from Nintendo USA and Nintendo Australia about routers tested by Nintendo. The guide also has a section for WiFi routers tested by MyDS.com.au members Here: www.myds.com.au/

This is where the WiFi Router list medal comes into play. If you wish to help us build one of the most comprehensive Nintendo DS Compatible WiFi Router lists then all you have to do is give us some information on the router/s that you have used with the Nintendo DS.

The information we need is:

 • The Brand name of the Router eg Belkin, D-Link etc
 • The model number eg F5D7230au4, this number is usually located at the bottom of the router.
 • The version number eg ver.6004au, also usually located at the bottom of therouter.
 • and finally give it a rating out of 5 stars with a little note eg my Belkin router works perfectly with my DS every time I give it

I have tested this with multiple DS's connected at the same time playing the same and different games all at once with no problems at all. Also worked fine with the Wii using WPA encryption.

It works with my DS, PSP and Wii. I've had no faults with it and hope to have none.

I also have a Wi-Fi extender, made by D-Link. It isn't compatible with my DS but it works with my Wii and PSP. (Will find details on that soon)

Underneath it should say H/W Ver: *** Where the stars are, is where your Version Number is, which is needed.

Quite easy to set-up. Works well with DS, PSP and PS3. Sometimes can be slow.

It works, but it's really laggish. Just my itnernet, though. ADSL2+ router, at 108m and Up to 1024mbit rates.
