I'm kind of in the same situation kinda stopped watching it probably because I haven't really watched much TV recently just due to lack of time but the old series were good.

I've been watching it since the first season aired. It's always been about the "gosh" factor with South Park, waiting to see what the will come up with next, and how close they can get to that line of what you can get away with. I guess when you keep pushing that line, your audience becomes more accustomed to it, and you have to go further and further until you either realise you've got no where else to go, or you push it too far.

Honestly, the way they've just been killing people off in this latest series is going too far. It's not funny anymore, they've killed killing. They need to keep their gosh factor to keep the amusement. I want to be shocked and laughing at the same time. Killing should be kept at a minimum to retain the goshness!

But yeah, I love my South Park still.
